Drivers side parking light glows and wont shut off

Tried searching and couldnt come up with any solutions. As the title states my parking light bulb in my R53 is glowing and wont shut off. Tried disconnecting the battery, checked the fuse and even replaced the bulb to no avail.

I had my tech rewire the oem driving lights to turn on independently from the high beams so this issue has to be related. Bad relay maybe? Any feedback would be grealy appreciated.

and it still does it with the battery disconnected..... ?
do you have HID's - is it somehow drawing power from that ???
it's stealing power from something...
and it was fine before ???
weird .....

The light did go off when I disconnected it from the battery.

No hid's. just the factory parking light bulbs.

Really weird. It happened right after the re-wiring of the driving lights so it has to be related. I just don't get why it's on all the time

Is this whilst driving?

The parking light is activated by your indicator (blinker) stalk, down for left, up for right. Maybe there's an issue with that, since you rewired?

It's on all the time. Regardless of the car being on or not.

Don't know why it would be related to the turn signal stalk since the wiring of the driving lights have nothing to do with that area.

Just to clarify the light is not completely on when the car is off. It just glows slightly so something is keeping it powered.

Here's a pic

I would go back though and check to see what wiring was done to cause the fogs to come on how you desire.
Start with sorting your problem by your last variable.
Hopefully you can get it taken care of.
Where in Socal are you, Id take a look at it if you need me to.
it sounds like its back feeding from somewhere.

Yeah. I'm positive that it has something to do with how the lights were wired. I wish I wasn't completely clueless when it comes to stuff like this and to make things worse the guy who hooked it up with is on vacation for a month.

That would be great if you could help

Someone screwed up the wiring. Go through the wiring with a fine tooth comb and redo it all if necessary.

exactly how was the DL change done?

I mean

can you turn DL on anytime you want or must the parking lights at least be on?

if the latter, could be your mech moved the tigger wire from the high beam on wire to the parking light on wire and screwed up the connection causing a short

The dl can be tuned independently of all the lights as long as the car is on. So I can turn it on whether or not the parking, fogs, or headlights are on.

I know there are some circuits that are still alive for a while after the car is off. I think it's 20 or 30 min. See if it goes off in 20 or 30 min (on a fully charged batt.). if so, it's probably on that circuit for some reason.
