Hello! It's my first theart on this forum. I'm from Georgia europe and few moths ago i bought 07 mini cooper with automatic tranny on salvage car auction.. car was damaged from front and I bought hood and fender(they were damaged) also mini cooper oem body kit and exhaust. just finished bodywork and car won't starts when I put key and press start button it only starts music and shows seatbelt sign on dash. it wont start and even wont do anything like ignition isn't turned on... scanner says that acess system has a fault..
Please help! any info will be helpfull cause there is nobody who knows whats wrong!

 

The only thing I can think of is the parking switch sensor is not making contact. Lots of issues could prevent the car from starting. What code are you getting? Might help determine the cause.

 

I'll post codes tomorrow. but what about dashboard look like no ignition
shifter doesn't move and steering wheel doesn't lock

In a standard car - there is a micro switch on the clutch peddle, I have posted on this before... if it fall off, nothing - no start... there may be something like this on the auto - as stated above --- park micro switch... do a search..

 

You must press the brake pedal when trying to start the car.
