Sorry about my relative ignorance on the system -- yes, the amp is included, and no it's not in the photo. I didn't even realize until yesterday that there was a separate amp. It's still installed in the boot of my MINI (although not in use b/c we bought a new amp).

My husband will remove it this week -- it includes a mounting bracket.

I updated the eBay listing to indicate that the amp is included, but not shown in the photo.

Sorry for the confusion.

Anyone buying this and planning to install it - be aware that the stock car does not have the wiring harness - a lot of wiring is needed to install the HK upgrade!

AmRov,
I presume the wiring harness for the HK is still in the car - so there is no connector for the amp included with the eBay sale?

We can cut the connector for the amp off of the harness and include it with the system.

To be clear, this system should be installed by a professional.

UPDATE:

The CD changer has been sold to a fellow NAM user.

As for the H/K system -- well, removing the amp appears to be no simple matter. It appears that several panels in the boot would have to be removed to get to it and completely detach it.

I need to find out if anyone else has done this; perhaps there is a "trick" to doing it.

But it may be simply not feasible, and if that is the case, I will have to pull this from sale...

I have removed and re-installed my HK amp ... it might be possible to get it out without removing the rear quarter panel, but far easier to remove the panel and gain easy access.
To do this, you need to remove the rear seats, then there are a few screws holding the panel, then it pulls off. When replacing the panel, be careful to align the yellow clips with the car frame so that the panel is held secure and does not vibrate. If necessary, buy a few new clips to replace any damaged ones.

Your stereo people had the panel off to change the rear speakers - shame they did not take the amp out for you at that time!

Seems as if you have people bidding on it anyways. I'd be interested in your head unit if you wanted to sell it separately.

Thanks, Ian. I can pretty much assure you that hubby and I will NOT be removing any seats. The install guys had them out to do my new system, but they are not coming out again.

Groan...

Well, we'll give it one good try -- with seats in place -- but if we can't get it out, then it stays in and that's that.

In that case, I guess I'll just offer up the head unit and speakers for whatever independent value they might have... I wasn't trying to make any money, just hate to throw stuff in the trash.

I am punting on removing the amp. I have offered the head unit and the speakers separately to two people (JBOO -- I sent you a PM).

Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for your responses.

Sorry to hear that AmRov, but I understand (from experience) how you would not want to pull the rear of the car to pieces ...
This pic was from when I (temporarily) installed the Kenwood Keg into where the amp used to be, borrowing the same bracket - you can see one bolt holding the bracket, but there are also two screws much deeper into the car; I cannot see how you could reach them without taking the panel off.
