NAV CD/DVD drive location!!!

where is the cd drive for the nav system? im tring to update the nav and i was under the impersion it was under the passegner seat and its not there could it be somewhere else?

never mind i found a pdf and i looks like a pian in the but to get to the cd drive. i thought the drive cd clot was exposed and was easy to accses, guess not

The slot is exposed and easy to access. Look under the back of the front passenger seat.

Under the seat, you should find a metal box with a rubber flap cover. When you open the flap, you'll see the Nav unit itself, which looks like this:

^ i know now lol.

my understaning was that there was just a drive sitting there so that when you looked under the seat it was staring you in the face. its not its under the rug in a tray.

Was scratching my head as I was not finding the DVD drive as well in my convertible.

To clarify for convertible R52 owners: the DVD drive is under the driver seat (left side).
