sup peeps in NAM!!!!!!
I placed an order for my MCS '13 in august and about to go pick it up
real real soon.... AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! finally! Yeah I've loved the mini ever
since i saw the "Italian Job", the recent one not the old version, so yea cant
wait to drive it!!! Trading my Maxima for the go kart, time to have fun!!!!

Does the mini not have a coolant temp gauge??????

Nope, no temp gauge on 2nd gen. Very annoying.

Ok Im trying to an do oil change soon but people here seem to use different types of oil....
I'm gonna use Mobil one 5w30 is that ok????? I read the thread regarding which one to use but just confused me

just a quick question.....
is it just me or does the engine usually have the tapping sound????
any help with this would be very grateful!!!

The tapping sound is most likely the DI (Direct injection). I would call it a "ticking". You should hear it at idle, but should be drowned out when moving. Check the oil to make sure you are full. If in doubt have a Gen2 "S" owner listen to it to make sure it is within the norm.

the sound was there when i started at the dealer and yes it does drown out as i move
people keep saying im already tapping... i guess this is normal????
