Timing Chain Tensior Seal

This week I noticed two small drops of oil on the garage floor; crawled under the Mini (2011 S 15k miles) yesterday and found oil leak coming from around the tensior. Lucky for me I had an appointment at the dealer today for front brake service.

Before I could mention the oil leak; the SA shows me on the print out that there is a TSB out for the Timing Chain Tensior Seal.

Sitting at the dealer now (Mini of Pensacola) and was just advised by the SA to bring the Mini back next week so the can check the timing chain itself from a cold start and they will provide a loaner.

Great service so far.....Mini of Pensacola
