I am going to see about buying a 2010 mini clubman with 26000 miles on it. Live in the Boston area.

Carfax shows car imported from Italy in 2010 and has clean record.

Any harsh reviews about the 2010 Mini clubman?

Can't say I've seen harsh reviews of the Clubman out there or any harsher than sources that don't like Mini's in general. Some folks think the 4 door countryman take some of the appeal away. I say no way! The Clubman is a nice compromise between a hatch and a 4 door.

 

I have a 2009 Clubman, only complaint I have is the Barn doors compromise rear visibility...so you just have to make sure you outrun everything behind you!

I like it because I have the extra trunk space, and usable back seat but still have most of the performance and YEEE-ha of the shorter booted version.

Another plus I perceive is that on the highway it tends to be alittle more stable, the regular ones seem a little squirrelier. What ever you do get a MINI if you enjoy getting in a car and just smiling everyday...and being just a little different from all the other small cars this is a great choice!
