We have not found a honda, or other junk yard avail wheel that will clear the brakes.

But this one we sell works great.

Sounds like the spare does NOT fit in the 'trunk' of a MINI Cooper S hardtop and instead you need to stash it behind a front seat.

Maybe it's not so bad, since passengers can't fit in the rear seats anyway. So might as well put the space to better use. But I guess changing a front flat tire is a little bit of a fire drill, since you have to swap the front flat with a good rear wheel and then put the spare on the rear wheel. Granted, if you have slime and a compressor, maybe that will fix most flats. But many of the flats that I've had made a mess out of the tire and it needed changed to get the car driveable again.

Makes it tough to part with the run flats, enough though the rough ride with the 17" wheels is getting old. Maybe going to the pole position runflats is an ok option?
