I just spoke to my MINI dealer yesterday, to find out what is happening regarding the Visibility Pack, 'cos I have it included in my order. He told me that it is now ready, and that he had ordered a few MINI's this week and the option was accepted. He also told me the the HK option was also accepted for someone elses order. Both option are available for Feb/Mar '03 delivery dates.

Are these orders for December builds?

 

As far as I am aware, these are for Jan '03 Builds. But this is in the UK. If I were you I would speak to your dealer and see what they have to say 'cos it also depends on their monthly allocation of MINIs

I BELIEVE he is referring to the speed-sensitive Windshield wipers and heated windshield.

 

Rocketboy_x, the Visibility Pack is a UK option. It comprises the following:

1. Heated front windscreen for those cold days and nights ahead

2. Auto dipping rear view mirror so you don't get blinded by the car behind you - which is in no way near a good as ya MINI

3. Automatic windscreen wipers when it starts to rain.

I don't know if it is called somthing different around the globe

Are they still offering the heated windshield? It isn't shown as an option on miniusa.com MINI builder.

Wonder how much it would cost to replace those when they get pitted and cracked?
