Help Riley Children's Hospital!

My name is Daniel Robinson. I've been a member on these boards for quite a while. I'm a pre-med student at Indiana University. After spending a summer working through the Well's Center and Riley Children's Hospital, I have decided to be a part of Indiana University Dance Marathon. In short, it's a volunteer event that is used to raise money to help Riley patients pay for medical treatment. The dance marathon lasts for 36 hours, during which we can not sleep, sit down, or rest. We spend most of the daytime hours with Riley kids, playing games and getting to know them. Last year, the event raised nearly $2 million, adding to the $12 million that it has raised over the last 10 years.
Parker (my roommate) and I both volunteering this year and our goal is to raise at least $500 apiece. If we reach this goal, our fundraising alone can pay for one child's chemotherapy for a month.
