Hello all just did the big jump

Installed Akrapovic DP which is absolutely awesome. Sound is mean on WOT and quiet when cruising. Quick turbo response and great boost.

Audi TT 710D piston BOV has made a crazy difference got ride of that loud psh which was ridiculously loud with tune and my mods. Now sound is only when WOT or heavy boost but very mild. Boost holds much better. Best of all shifting is absolutely a pleasure. Smooth as possible great down shifts now with out crazy jerking or hard shifts. Car goes so much quicker to speeds and best of all you don't even know you are going that fast with the new Non run flat tires

New quiet diverter keeps this car even more sleeper like.

Hankook evo tires/ Konig feather rims: Best option to minimize noise.

I always thought rough noise was from my solid engine mount but it was the dunlop RF tires. Smooth ride now absolutely quite on highway. Can actually have a conversation now. Also great wet weather tread.


Dominated a Hyundai Genesis and old modified prelude the other day.

 

Which tips did you go with on the exhaust?

I actually left the stock JCW exhaust at this time. To be honest I am not very sold on the Akrapovic tips. I love high end products but really don't see the absolute need nor the aesthetic looks behind it. I haven't decided which exhaust. Looking at NM Tback, DDMworks, Remus, Akrapovic.

My JCW exhaust is slightly different then the staged exhaust. Still sounds mean with no drone on highway.

3k RPMs and sounds great lots of pop and burble on deaccel.
