On Monday I placed my order for my new 04 MCS from Otto's MINI in PA!!!! Here's the specs:

Dark Silver/Black (with bonnet stripes), All 3 packages, H/K, Rain sensing, Cloth (I actually liked it more than leather)

Since I'm moving from CA to PA area, the car will be timed to be there when I arrive in early June. Needless to say, I'm excited and having problems sleeping at night!

Here's my question: How do I get a factory alarm system? I've checked the web and haven't been able to find it. It does say that the car is pre-wired for an alarm, but how much does the actual alarm cost?

My girlfriend ordered a MCS a few weeks ago and there was an option to get the factory alarm system. I think it was $595. If I were you I would call the dealer and find out for sure. We were told the website is not very accurate and even offers options that are not available.

We live in Pittsburgh. Where in PA are you relocating to?

 

Derek, I'll be moving to the PA/Delaware line area - Chadds Ford, West Chester, Kennett Square.

Anyone have info on MINI clubs for the area?

 

Check prices with Classic Mini...they're supposed be pretty competitive. It's plug and play from what I hear. I still haven't ordered my MINI, next week though. I may get that option later myself rather than have the dealer install it.
