I stumbled across the same site last week (from NAM I believe)
Be careful though. I did find problems with the power steering pump service. My silicone O ring stretched and I got screwed (undocumented in the DYI).

Thanks for your comments astro and Matt
What exactly was undocumented or missing? Are you talking about the O-Ring on the hard line? How did you stretch that? I had no issues with this during removal or installation. All of the information on my website is just pictures I take with some tidbits of info so people know what they are getting themselves into and so they can decide if they feel they have the level of skill required to do a DIY task or if they need to take it to a shop. I have never claimed it to be a shop manual replacement or a replacement for a mechanic.
Sorry for the derail, I had someone email me a few weeks ago who had screwed up their fuel filter replacement, clearly someone who should have taken their car to a shop and after trying to help them resolve their issue over email it was my fault for not having a DIY guide that could do the job for them- there is only so much pictures and words can do for you and although I try to help where I can over email (and occasionally by phone) when questions are asked, if I'm not there or you're not here there is little more I can do for you.
The standard disclaimer on all of my write-ups is: ANY USE OF THIS INFORMATION BY YOU IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. So evaluate what you feel is within your comfort level and if it's not, take your car to a professional.
Hopefully my website is more helpful to someone that is mechanically inclined than it is detrimental to those that might not be.
Off the soap box now- carry on.

It wasn't meant as an attack or anything, just a caution. I like your site, read lots on it.
Your disclaimer holds true. I agree as well, if you aren't ready for the possible consequences don't attempt DYI's
For the PSP, the orange silicone O-ring that seals the outer can to the body stretched. I assume I happened during removal. In your DYI it mentioned that it should be fine to reuse it. Others have been successful as well. Mine, somehow, was not. I just wanted to make others aware of my experience.

Now I understand why I didn't understand what you were talking about.......you are talking about taking the pump apart and I have not done that, but have a link to someone on the UK Mini2 forum that did so someone that is inclined could see why the pump fails. Anyone that takes their pump apart to attempt a fix is rolling the dice, that's why I replaced mine with a new pump.....I'm not even sure I would go for a rebuilt unit. You should post on the Mini2 forum link that you could not re-use your o-ring seal so others know the risk....... http://www.mini2.com/forum/3118953-post329.html
