What color is your Astro black roof? I'm looking at a mini with a white one, I hate the white and am thinking I'd get it painted if its not too pricey but Im curious if Factory is Gloss Black (seems like it would look odd against a greyish black Astro) or is it painted Astro?

 

The roof of my astro black MCS is body color. The only other color I've seen is white or red, in the case of JCWs. I don't think a true black roof would look right with astro black since the difference between the two shades of black would stand out.

 

I figured it was body color but wasnt sure. I hope the dealers can still paint with the discontinued color.

Im also a bit weary on how well black wheels would look on the Astro. Its such a strange color, Im not totally sure if I like it yet.

 

You should be able to get it painted. The OEM paint is available for touch up jobs and someone posted a thread on here a while back where they painted the hood and hatch of a damaged astro black justa they were restoring. It shouldn't be to hard to find the paint, but you may have trouble finding a place to do a good job for a low price.
