Hi! I'm new here, just wanted to blatantly announce that. I've got a BRG CVT MINI that I got at P&W in Pittsburgh. I look forward to participating in these forums!

Hey Mark,
Ditto to everything else that has been responded to your opening topic. Out of 25 cars that I have owned since I was 16, I can never remember being more pleased with any like I am my mini. The Cooper handles like a go-cart. It's no wonder they have become a smash hit here in the states, we are not accustomed to having a real driving experience. I drove a Brit. Green before deciding on an Indi Blue. The car was awesome!
If you're really smitten, you'll have to get out and garnish all of the replicas out there. I started a month ago, and it has become a pleasurable hobby. Start looking at the Sam's Clubs. They sell a $9.87 Maisto Die Cast that you are going to like. It's made in Britt Racing Green!
Welcome aboard,
Jim

Maisto makes five colors, of which BRG is included. The bonnets, hatch and doors all open. The wheels have "spring" to them. The steering works. It's a bargain considering the die cast for sale at the dealerships. Hot Wheels also makes a relica of similar size. I have only found one color, which happened to be Indi Blue. There's also another brand, that's similar to Maisto, found at most Kaybee Stores, at around $19.99.
It's become something of a preoccupying hobby.. Good luck!

Greetings and weclome - from slightly North of the 'burgh!
Keep watch for the MINI reunions that P&W hosts. We just had one on Sunday (10/21) to Seven Springs - it was EXTREMELY COOL seeing a line of 27 MINIs driving down the road!!!!!
There is talk of another one (in December?) to Oglebay for the X-mas lights.

Glad to hear the 7 Springs one went well! I got the invite to it, but was busy that weekend, maybe I'll make the Oglebay one!
I stopped at the McKnight Rd Sam's Club today, Not a Mini in sight, plenty of stupid PT cruisers left though!
