While I don't dislike the 175 size 15" Continental tires that came with our Cooper CVT, I was wondering if I would be able to mount 195 size tires in these same rims?

I would prefer to keep the stock 15" look, but wonder if 195 width tires would fit there?

 

Several people have been able to fit 205's on their stock 15" rims. 195's should fit nicely. You want a side wall of 55 (so, 195/55-15) to keep your speedometer accurate.

I've got 205/50R15 Vicotracers on a set of 7-holes, and they seem to work just fine.

 

195/60 or 205/55 work!

I see some 225/50/15 tires. Victos......Do you guys think I can get them on a set of hollies?? I am wondering if they would work for auto-x tires.

225/50 Victoracer mounts down to 6 inches minimum, and is 23.9 inches in diameter.
