Yes, there is a list; or rather several lists, which are not always in complete agreement. I didn't pay much attention to them because I've never stored a car. I'll try to remember some things, just to get started, but you should get more help on this than I can give.

Battery: Disconnect fully charged, remove and store indoors (assuming the garage isn't heated over the winter). Don't store it on concrete, as that could drain it. I'm not sure about whether to put it on a maintenance charge, or just let it sit. If you come home periodically, maybe just re-charge it then.

Fuel: put a sufficient amount of fuel stabilizer in the tank and fill it with fuel.

Oil: change oil soon before storage.

Tires: air-up tires to near maximum psi indicated on tire. This is to prevent, or at least reduce, flat-spotting due to sitting in one place for so long. In the old days, cars were put on blocks or jack stands with wheels and tires removed, but now there is some concern about the suspension (especially the shocks) not being compressed.

Car protection: Clean and protect car inside and out before storage. Be sure all is dry. Try to close off all entry-ways into the car, including exhaust tip, so mice won't find a new home. Mice love to chew wiring. You can place some of those little bags of dehumidifying granules inside the car, but don't install moth ***** or other smelly deterrence, as it may leave an odor that's very tough to remove. Cover car.

There are other lists about how to properly recover a car that's been in long term storage.

At least that's enough to get someone to correct me on.

Good list, just to add:
use steel wool to plug the exhaust and intake to keep out rodents.
An open tray of kitty litter works well to absorb humidity on the inside and it is cheap.
Run the motor after putting in the stabilizer so that it gets worked all the way through the fuel lines to the injectors.
A battery tender is a good investment.

If possible have someone start the engine periodically and push the clutch pedal in and out to prevent rusting of the clutch to the flywheel.

Don't start the engine periodically, it will mean more wear from additional dry starts. Just leave it alone until you are ready to start driving it regularly.
