Great! I'll be looking forward to seeing how they look. Are they silver or hyperblack?

What's the offset on those? Nice looking wheel, and I see you have the proper color Cooper as well...

Nice looking wheel - I hope they come with center caps.

EDIT: Ok, I saw the center caps at the Enkei website....though I was imagining something that would cover the whole center section.

I had them on my Evo 8, and loved the look of the 17 by 9" size... when the rims were clean. Which was not for long, as they attract brake dust like magnets and take 10 minutes each to clean properly. Swore never to go to a mesh style wheel ever again.

yeah, i chose this wheels because of a coupe reasons:

- wanted a mesh wheel, but didnt want to get BBS (too much damn $$)
- got a pretty decent price on em..(I work at DTC)

also, i just found out that since these wheels are +45 offset, they would work with the Stoptech BBK that I want to get in the next couple months. cant wait.

I am considering the BBS RGR's right now, but this is nice for a few reasons - I have the Stop Tech's, and need spacers with the Chrono EVO's I run currently. Would also need spacers for the BBS. But these are less $$$ and would apparently clear...

Wow, I am sure you got an excellent deal! Unfortunately, I am 2000+ miles away, but thanks for the offer. Have you decided the tire and the size you are going to run?

im going to go with the Yokohama Es100's. the tire size..well thats a toughy.., and this is because Im going to lower the car with H&R coilovers. So its a tossup between 215/45-17 and 205/45-17. I do not want to have any issues with rubbing so im kinda leaning toward the 205/45's.

215/40's are outta the question because the load rating is not enough for the mini....

I've been reading about the tire size and the 215/45/17 and lowered cars and it seems that it's dependent on the offset of the wheel. With 45+ offset you shouldn't have a problem. What have you read about them?

The Enkei RPM2 17x7 - 4/100 is a good looker besides it got a light weight at 16.7lbs. So I started the web search on prices. Wow!

Prices range from $207 (shipped from G-Force Performance and Sound), $215 (Discount Tire w/o tax; believe it or not), $283 (1010tires w/o S&H), and $309 (some place I didn't note w/o S&H).

A $100+ spread. I'm calling G-Force Performance and Sound tomorrow to validate their web quote.

What price ranges have we seen, w/o S&H and tax per wheel?

I only priced discount tire and saw that they charge $70 for the lugnuts/wheel locks and $12 for the valve stems but they offer free shipping. They charge $40 for ride match system. Some of these things are included when you buy from the tirerack. Too bad they don't sell Enkeis.

Thats strange... Tirerack used to carry Enkei, and that is where I got my RPM2s last July...
