MF and Residuals on 2013 Hardtop S's?

Kinda wishing NAM offered an "Ask a Dealer" area like on Bimmerfest but whatever. Can someone provide the current MF and residuals for the 2013 Cooper S Hardtops? I'm considering ordering one to lease but want to double check what the dealer tells me, as in my experience dealers seem to be prone to marking up the MF. Thanks!

Be sure to negotiate on the sale price...many dealers love flease deals cause the car is sold at full retail, then they make $$ on the full retail, the finance charges, then on the cindition when the car is brouggt back....
A flease (other wise known as a lease) is ALWAYS the most $$ to get into a car.
Better idea is to buy a car, negogate hard, then sell it to pay off the loan at the same point the lease would end.....better flexibility, and you never get trapped in a car if your life change, like you need more miles per year, or a different car due to a job/lifestyle change. You still take the HUGE FIRST YEAR DEPRECIATION hit, but less of a hit in EVERY other way. When folks lease a car, they almost always are lying to themselves about how much car they can afford, and often are shopping only by monthly payments.
End rant. Sorry i did not have the info you wanted, but hopefully i gave you something to think about.

I appreciate the input and I realize there are always going to be people who don't like leases, but the point is the next car I get will be a lease regardless of whether it's a MINI or some other make. I would appreciate it if someone could provide the information I requested. Thanks though!

Btw I'll be getting $1k off the price whether I lease or finance, order or get one on the lot.

You don't have to lease from a MINI dealer. Check with your credit union, bank or somebody like GE Capital. You can compare lease rates, residuals, down payment and monthly payment.

That's a good idea. I haven't decided what vehicle I want to lease yet. Considering a Hardtop S, Countryman S (though I'm a little worried after reading about *loads* of reliability things in the R60 forum here), C30 R-Design, A3 2.0T, and maybe a couple other things. MINI just seems to be a little quiet about their lease info.

I usually check Car_Man on the Edmunds forums.

Another thing to consider - MINI Select. When we ran the lease and MINI Select numbers, it was a much better option, especially with a hardtop since they hold their value so well. Believe me, having worked my way out of two different leases early, I'd rather not lease again unless it's a vehicle like my MDX that is big enough and capable enough to handle almost anything.

Good luck!

^^ PS - another benefit of MINI Select right now, at least according to my dealer, is that the rate is 100 basis points lower than usual (they usually mark the rate up 100 basis points over conventional financing).
