Hey all I spoke to George this evening and we have confirmed some information regarding this years event. If we can get 10 people signed up for each day then we are in. You do not have to sign up for both days so if you can make it please sign up here with the days you can.

The dates are September 22nd and 23rd.

Also if anyone is available next Thursday evening at 7:00 we would need someone to go to the speedway for the meeting. I know this is short notice but let see what we can do.

How long must we be there on these days? Apparently I missed something at a meeting!!

 

Right now I am committed to another club but if it gets us in, I will withdraw from the other, I can have 2 mini,s both days. If we don,t get enough I will go with the other club.

 

I can do one day, doesn't matter which, if I have a car by then that is.

Hey Rick if you want to come just plan on staying asnlong as you can, they are asking us to be there till 5. Right now I am just seeing if we can get enough response by Thursday.

 

What time does it start?

 

If I remember right from last year.,... it was all day. From 8-5 or so. I think around 4 we started packing up.

Although something to note is if the situation is the same as last year; we are able to roam the speedway and leave the speedway and come back if needed. So you can go get lunch & beer etc. (if you know someone???....Like a bald mans girlfriend....that can pick you / us up, lol) Your MINI just has to remain on site.

Also remember some bringing coolers etc. (& I cannot confirm or deny that some may have had COLD beer stashed away, which helps the time go by)

So for me definitely will be bringing a cooler...lesson learned. And games etc.

It was a long day but being able to leave and come back was a huge plus.

 

My MINI & I can come Saturday.
Also can have my MINI there Sunday if needed? (drop her off and come back and pick her up)

Have we contacted Upstate Minis and/or Tarheel Minis to see if any of them have interest? Right now it does not look like we have enough for both days. Just a thought.

John, I could do one day…does not matter which one, where ever you need another MINI.
One thing, WHAT am I signing up for? And where is this? I swear one would think I am blond.

 

I'll be there on Sat, not early enough to show a car but will come by.

 

Way they will meet around 8;30-9;00 for breakfast. Then to the dealership. I am just going to the speedway with another club we will be up in turn 1 at end of pit road, Horsepower Junkies, I think the mini will fit in, Luke

 

I am sorry to hear we won't have M2C2 at the Auto Fair. I will still be there working. If anyone wants to eat in The Speedway Club while at Auto Fair please stop by and ask for George.
