Need help! I know of two folks who will help run this, but we need a leader and route planner!

We need some comments from the MINI5280 folks on a possible theme.

Anyone want to lead this activity, possibly in September or October, early before the snows.

Yay, Yalla, Yalla!

 

A theme where everyone dresses up would be great fun!

 

We have done one with Halloween dressed up and MINIs decorated.

I am taking ideas and still looking for volunteers (victims, if you prefer).

I'd be happy to volunteer, depends on the location though. Can't lead a ride, if I was to lead a ride, everyone would fall asleep. Granny driving style.

I'll suggest the theme "Back to the roots (of Minis)", complete with 1960s clothes, music and hair styles. Award goes to the most colorful hippie outfit. :-D

 

Nice idea, we could extend an open invitation to our local classic club to come play with the young kids.

More ideas, this one might be hard to beat.

I will take you up on volunteering, need a few more for planning, lots on Yalla Yalla drive day.

So I have 3 now, potentially 4.

I like the "Back to the roots (of Minis)" theme.

I'm thinking of:

Traditional Ride Quiz.

The Broncos Bye Week on Saturday October 20th.

Half as long as in the past, maybe a start time of noon or one PM. (this will eliminate the need for a bunch of volunteers without a "half-way check point").

We or I can come up with a start and end location. An end location where we can get a bite to eat and share stories.

We or I can come up with a route and a quiz.

I'm no good a gathering up prizes or designing logos.

We can put something together, show up on a Saturday like we always do, go drive around and call it YALLA YALLA.

, i would like to help where i can. had surgery on my thumb so typing has not been good. i will help with whatever you need. i will be out of town 30 Aug-15 Sep. but i can help through e-mail or whatever. can make the planning meeting. i has been recommended that i do not drive without a thumb and a cast half way up my arm. let me know what you need.

In England, the MINI clubs go on scavenger hunts. I think this is a great idea, however I'm not nearly creative enough to plan this is this sort of what Yalla Yalla is? Sorry, I'm a first-timer with this...

 

Progress has been made, we are planning. Thanks to the partial team who made a dinner stop last night.

Theme is set, ideas are hatching, date is to be set soon.
