R50/53 Service Manuel
I just called my local dealer (Crevier) and asked for a MINI service Manuel. They told me they are not available?!?!?! So I was wondering, what they use? Is it just my dealer? And how good are those aftermarket ones. I’ve seen ones on CD (BMW TIS) but I just think the book is more useful but I guess the price difference makes it up.
Anyone know anything?

Here is a link to Bentley Publishers for the Mini Service Manual. Despite what it says about not being available until Se[tember 1, 2004, it is available now. I have not seen it but have had Bentleys in the past.

From what I've heard, it's actually won't be out until September. There is a shop owner here in Austin, TX, that knows the guy writing the book.
Where did you hear that it was available now?

I heard it was available now by going to the web site. I filled out the form to notify me when it was available, and received the message that it was available now.
We have the BMW/MINI TIS (Technical Information Service) CD and a CD that show exploded views of various parts covering most BMW's from the E30 up to the E60 (both CD's).
It is NOT the be-all-end-all we hoped it would be...
