Car goes airborne, takes out MINI dealership...

I drive by my MINI dealership every day on my way to work, but yesterday came upon this disaster.

I don't feel sorry for people like that. There is an underlying story of why that happened. Bet she was trying to cut across the grass to pass a bunch of traffic.

Holy...! I hope the driver is OK. That stretch of Rte. 1 is a nightmare with the mall traffic, and rush hour makes it even worse.

I loathe pulling into the traffic whenever I leave Princeton MINI, it's the only thing I dislike about going there.

I'm shocked that she made it okay besides the pain because that looked brutal. Hopefully nothing to severe.

Well.... Princeton Mini probably won't be asking people to "drop in for a test drive" anymore!

Having driven through that area recently to pick up my '06 Mini, I can see how that happened. I was nearly run off the road a few times on the way up there and back.

One of the comments on the article:

I know the woman involved and I can assure you, not that it'anyone's business but, the woman went unconscious for reasons unknown until the hospital runs tests!
Seems highly unlikely, but sure makes for a good excuse when talking to the insurance company. "No, I wasn't driving recklessly - in spite of no prior medical history I suddenly went unconscious for reasons unknown!"
