"Motorcycles ... Grrr!
OK. I apologize to all the motorcycle riders for lumping you in with Mini Cooper owners who wave at each other in my last column. And for all of you who e-mailed me about sending the Hell's Angels to come and get me, that's not why I'm apologizing."
Feel free to email him your opinion... I have

I guess he just doesn't want people being friendly with each other. Maybe he would be happy if we made rude gestures instead. Our other car is a Beetle and they wave to each other as well. I love it, there are enough people with road rage that a little kindness is well appreciated.

Well said. I think it's great that people feel the comraderie and can offer a friendly gesture to strangers as they pass by. I used to have a New Beetle and thought it was great to pass others and have them wave wildly and flash their lights. I guess the best way to get back at this guy is to smother him with kindness, maybe he didn't get enough when he was young.

So I'm driving my "other car" this week and here comes a Red Mini....so I flash him and he waved back and smiled....is that cool or what? Let's do what we do and the hell with what someone else thinks. The right things to do are the right things to do......
