What can one gain by just adding this?

Just like any intercooler upgrade. The deal with gp is its oem so its a perfect fit. Its larger than S intercooler, that means it drops air temp down more going into the engine. Im sure someone else can give a more detailed answer than me

That's about the gist of it. Two more rows of fins = better cooling ability. And they're not so common, so you can brag on that.

The only intercooler upgrade out there that is actually better than stock. All the others have been proven to show very minimal gains if not make it worse. Definately considering picking this up.

Pics? Well it's still in original sealed box from mini. If you just need a photo there are tons floating around. But I have sold and bought many things here.

Well roosey, if you want to drive down the road and say WOW THAT INTERCOOLER REALLY PUT ON THE PONYS, then dont buy it. because your not going to feel extra horsepower, what it is going to do is keep the internal air temp lower, this will give you better quality horse power, your engine will run stronger at high engine temps, where as if the air running hot the overall torque would theoretically be lower

hahaha no no no problem. what happened was you reminded me i needed to update it. that was from awhile ago and i started putting in all the new stuff i've acquired and i realized.. wow this list is ridiculously too long and needs condensed. ahhh modding my car is such an addiction...

but thanks for the info on the intercooler! ive really been debating it lately whether to buy one i just cant pull myself to do it. i really like the idea of having one for those purposes but for how expensive it is to buy a nice intercooler i almost want to buy more suspension stuff. decisions decisions...

$400 is a good price. Most everyone else wants $450 new. I can't justify the $1,124 for the DoS design. Get the GP and add the DDMWorks air diverter for $169 (that's $570 plus s/h invested). If you want to help maximize overall airflow, get the M7 Extreme scoop, too. Agreed, it's only really gonna help at high speeds and under hard acceleration loads. And get a can of Eastwood black radiator paint to drop the temps even more.
