R50/53 Replacing ball joints without dropping the subframe???
Replacing ball joints without dropping the subframe???
A few months ago I went through the front suspension on my MCS and replaced the LCA bushings, swaybar bushings, upper shock mounts, and shocks. The one thing I didn't do.....replace the inner and outer ball joints.
At the time everything was nice and tight, and they looked like they were in great shape...so I didn't replace them.
Well, they are starting to make some noise now when I back up and hit the brakes (clicking noise)....so I need to replace all of them (should have done it when I dropped the subframe the first time).
So....is it possible to get to the inner balljoints to replace with without dropping the front subframe again? The outer ones are easy to got to...but I'm worried that the inner ones are going to be tough.
Can you get to the inner ones without dropping the front subframe?
Thanks !!
