My 2003 CVT went out and im doing the cvt to 6 speed swap. I know a couple of guys on here has done it , I bought the whole conversion transmission on ebay for about 1400 shipping included, i want to start taking it apart this weekend, probably tomorrow, any of you guys done it? any pics or how to write ups? thanks, any help is greatly appreciate it.

I've never done it, but I think the procedure would be extremely similar to that of a clutch/flywheel replacement . The only thing I can think of that would be different would be changing the shifter linkages, cables, and then swapping out the pedal box.

 

plus new starter, axles, mounts, clutch slave and tubing, modify the reverse switch
harness, re-do the transmission ecu software, etc.
