I've been thinking about getting some rain tires and noticed that Goodyear now has a $75 gas card available with the purchase of 4 tires, depending model. So those F1 GS D3's are looking a little better.

And with the way gas prices are expected to climb this summer, you should almost be able to fill your tank with that $75 gas card!

I saw that too yesterday and am considering my next set of tires. Have never had any Goodyears on any of my cars though. . . .

 

i am also looking at the gs-d3's, either in 16 or 17's. the other tire i'm looking at is the bfgoodrich g-force t/a kdw2 or NT, which is the new tread design for the kdw's. tirerack's got'em both. strange thing though is that the gs-d3's are cheaper for the 17's, but are more expensive for the 16's.

right now, i'm leaning toward 16's, since i like the smaller look as well as lighter weight and more comfortable ride. plus they're a bit cheaper. but the gs-d3's are backordered for who knows how long. supposedly the kdw2's are to be available 03/16, which should be now.

i'm gonna call alex to check on his opinion. but if i'm gonna hafta wait months for the gs-d3's, that'll make my decision that much easier. although that $75 gas card is a pretty sweet deal.

 

The GS-D3s (at least in 17) were available last week from TireRack. I got 'em, and they're great...well, so long as I stay away from the bits of snow that were still sticking around last week
