Back in 2008 I bought a 06 Cooper S. Loved the car and pained me to sell but I was getting married could use the extra money. Well last year I bought what I thought was going to be the car of my dreams, a Lancer Evolution. Fun car, but all I do is daily drive it and it gets horrible gas mileage even when driving like a grandma. I was starting to consider getting another car that gets great mileage for my 50 mile round trip to work everyday and naturally thought of another Mini. Took my car to the dealer and they offered what I owed on it, which was about 2k higher than other dealers have offered me.

Now they are transferring a used Mini Cooper S for me and I can't wait for next weekend to pick it up.

I'll be sad to see the Evo go, but happy to be back in a Mini and saving $300/month in payment, gas and insurance!

 

That is exactly what I have, 2008 MCS with JCW stage 1 kit and I love it. I see you are in Golden. My brother lives there and I am there quite often. Here I am just up Clear Creek just last year.
