Ne of my friends has a 2009 MINI Cooper S and we did a little coding on it yesterday. Turned off the correction factors on the digital and analog speedometers, gt some part of comfort opening/closing to work. We ran out of time and didn't do anything to the NFRM (lighting) module, but found you ca tune welcome light appearance and change around DRLs a bit.

My question is this. When unlocking the car, now, windows will roll down if yu hold the unlock button, but the sunroof will only tilt. Locking the car, if the roof is completely open, it will close and the windows close now as well. What code should make the roof open fully? I four one in CAS, that was komrfot something or other SHD, but it had wert01. Did not have time to experiment with other settings.

Also, anyone know how to have the roof be one touch from inside using the upper console button? Would this be in the SHD module?

Lastly, I set the commands to make the mirrors food in when locking the car, but nothing happens. I have heard that you can't code mirrors on a MINI, true?

FYI, using Ediabas 7.2 and V46 sp daten files. I would say that any MINI that has visited a dealership in the last two years probably shod have v46 or some modules may not be readable.

 

I don't think it is possible to get the sunroof to completely open with the comfort opening, I've never been able to find the setting. But I wouldn't be surprised if it is possible.

Our mirror module is not on the CAN bus (unlike normal BMWs) so you cannot make them fold in or out with the FOB.

Seems like one-touch opening is not possible, just two-touch opening. Those four settings are in the SHD. Annoying.

 

Sunroof - is two touch at best but that is much better than the required HOLD TO OPEN FULLY that it is normally set for. 1 press opens to tilt and second press send it open fully.

OF course that may have changed on the newer vehicles 2012 and above.

 

Way programmed my sunroof to be one touch open or close. For the open, a long press will open it all the way (very similar to the two touch schatzy describes). On the close, you do have to do a second touch after it has returned to the tilt position to fully close it.

iirc, I was also able to fully open the sunroof using the key fob. Unfortunately, I lost that capability when MINI upgraded my software, so I can't verify.

 

Well that is interesting. Neither Way nor Helix could get mine to open 1 touch even with a long press. Maybe there is something wrong with my software. I know I occsionally still have window problems getting the passagner side to stay up, once in a while it insists on dropping half way back down until i shut the car off, close all doors, lock and unlock them. then it will again stay up for some period of time.
