This may be a dumb question, but I am about to move to New Jersey. We're leaving next week, and I'd like to check the tranny fluid. Do I have to check it the same way I changed it a couple of years ago? (Crawl under car...remove top drain plug...see if fluid comes out...etc) ...or is there a dip stick? ...and I'm not smart enough to find it?

 

You are on the right track. How long has it been since you changed it? I change mine every 20,000 miles.

Manual trans has no dipstick. I don't know about the S automatic, but I assume it has one. Justa auto has no dipstick.
