My car came with an iPod hookup but no USB. Anyone know of an adapter I can plug into the iPod connector to use it for something besides an iPod? I know it's possible to replace the iPod cable with a USB included one but was hoping for a simpler solution. I think iPods are over priced, I can listen to music from a cheap mp3 player and be just as happy

 

I don't have the answer but you might place this in the first gen audio/nav and get more answers faster

 

I think if you have an ipod input you should have an aux. jack in put (3.5 mm) in the cubby under the A/C stack. at least mt 2007 has both. or just get a ipod.
