Yellowstone this weekend

Headed out to Yellowstone from Missouri tomorrow morning. Stock 08 R56. Any problems with clearance on the roads in the park? Any other problems you've encountered? Thanks

We ran into some rough road construction last summer. Driving up 25 North from Colorado and then east on 20. We drove through the park after entering from the east entrance, until we reached West Yellowstone. The construction was somewhere in the park, dirt roads, narrow lanes, two-way traffic, but not terribly bad. Check Yellowstone NPS website for alerts.

We were in an RV. I'd love to see Yellowstone in the MINI.

Have fun!

No. You will Have no problem driving on the roads in Yellowstone. Only thing you need to watch for is speed limit and animals such as Buffalo, wolves, Elk, And various other critters. Have a good time and enjoy.I live about 75 miles north of the park in Ennis MT. and we visit the park two or three times a year.

If you can go over Beartooth Pass which is at the northeast entrance you will behold sights to remember. The loop that includes NE Entrance > Red Lodge, MT > junction of WY120/WY296 > back to NE Entrance is very impressive. And a great MINI road.

Thanks so much! We are about 2 hours from Mount Rushmore. On to the park tomorrow. Have driven about 800 miles so far. Nice drive some road construction but not bad. Averaging 35 mpg so far. Car is a hoot!
