Stock 2011 MCS with R113

Im a long time lurker on NAM and this is my first post. I need some help!

I just picked up my Chili Red 2011 MCS last month. I dumped the stock 16 inch wheels and purchased some used R113 but the tires are finished on them. They are the stock size 205/40/18 but I am wondering what other size fits on my MCS that is completly stock.

Ive read a lot on the forum and I can't seem to find my answer.

On some websites it is marked that these sizes can fit on my stock MCS

205/40-18
215/35-18
215/40-18

If your wondering why im asking this, the local shops around here sometimes have better deals on 215's than 205's

Yes, you can easily increase to a 215/40-R18 tire without an issue; especially if it allows for more tire choices and better price selection.

Thanks for the answer Erik.

Ive been reading up on this and have a few more questions for everyone out there!

If I go with the 215's am i going to have rubbing issues if I often have back seat passengers?

Also, I don't think I will do it, but it MIGHT cross my mind to lower the car about 1.5 inches eventually to get ride of some of the wheel gap. Will I have rubbing issues as well?

Thanks for all your help guys and girls!
