Those of you who have owned Breyton wheels, what is your opinion about them? Pros/cons? If you could buy a new set of wheels today, would you buy Breytons again? Of course every website has "reviews" sections but I would rather hear opinions from owners at NAM (past and present) rather than posted at retailer's sites. I think they're beautiful and am looking at a set of 17" but want to carefully consider my options.

I love my Breytons! Over 90% of the comments on my MINI have to do with the Breytons. The Pros = tons of compliments. The Cons = a couple of small scratches here and there.

I'd buy them all over again, perhaps in 18" the next go round. =)

 

Is it painted silver as suggested by their advertisements leading to scratches in the wheel paint, or are they a natural silver machined finish? I'd be concerned if painted I'd constantly be scratching the paint. Thanks!

 

They are the painted silver for sure. For better durability, I'd go with a machined finish for sure.

But dang those wheels are pretty. =)
