R50/53 ScratchX question
everyone has been extremely patient with my idiot querys, and here is yet another. when using Meguiar's ScratchX, how let us say restrained should one be in the application? i.e., do you simply wipe it on and let dry or is it ok to work it in on light scratches/blems? i tried the light touch on a scratch with no success, yet i was afraid to work it in for fear of making things worse. any tips?
thanks,
paddy

After doing multiple coats of ScratchX this weekend myself, here are my thoughts:
The best way (for me) to remove the swirl marks and such was to be very vigorous with the application (using foam applicator) and then VERY gentle wiping off excess. This is difficult as (if it gets dried enough) it can take a bit of elbow grease to remove. This provided the best results for me.
The swirls are still there, but after 3 coats of ScratchX and 2 coats of Meguiars NXT tech wax I can only see them if it's VERY bright and I'm right next to the surface. A HUGE improvement to be sure.
