It's a blast to bring along a friend who knows nothing about the Mini and then let them drive for a bit and see their reaction when they have been only used to a Honda fwd, which in all respect can be very fun, just not in the same package as the mini with Brembo's!!!

I can't wait to change out to non run flats and actually get some noise when the tires limits are pushed a bit along with more grip and better ride to boot...

You have been bitten by the bug for sure, very few cars return so much fun while getting decent mpg, as the mini... enjoy!!

Congrats. Enjoy it, but do it in a safe manner. Yes taking it to autocross or tracking is the best enjoyment. Maybe not the fast but the most enjoyable on the track.

Question on the power level for someone who has driven both "S" and JCW versions of the same car. I'm almost certainly buying something from the Mini family within a month or two. How noticeable is the power difference? It doesn't sound like much of an increase, but this car is light.
