Mini Mainia Strut Tower Brace with Strut Tower Defenders

Anyone fitted a Mini Mainia STB on top of Craven Speed STDs? Is there clearance under the bonnet to do this?

Sadly that intake isn't listed on this thread, but it should help you with your decision.

I think the OP is talking about the bar on top of the plates. There are a few challenges there Scotty. The first being that the adapter bolts on our STDs are going to require that the mounting point of the bar be drilled, then you have to check clearance to as you mentioned.

I don't know how anxious you are for a bar, but we are testing a bar/plate combo that is impressing me so far. The plate thickness is retained and the tension on the bar is fully adjustable. We won't have a final production run for a few weeks, and all I know is a 'target price' of $240 for that setup. I won't know the real price until we find out how much time they take to make.

Unfortunately, the bar will no be retro-fittable to existing STDs, this will be a standalone item.

Kellen, already have STDs on the way.
I could return them I suppose and wait for the bar/plate combo to become available. I'm fitting this to a base model and not an S if that makes a difference with the bar/plate combo.

Hi Kellen, I saw that you have added the SARS to your website. However, it looks like these are only for 2nd generation MINIs. Are you guys working on a product for 1st generation owners?
