Nice description in the calendar. Anyone want to map it with Google?
I signed up but it may be tentative for me, depends on some family obligations out of state. :(
Otherwise, a great ride, great places, picture opportunities and Castle Food.

If you guys think you want a better pee break...
You could revise the route out of Bishops Castle to go through Westcliffe, catch US69, and come to my other house. There is 2-3 miles of well maintained dirt on Freemont CTY RD 28 (Where I am located), but after you leave, Copper gulch road (PAVED) has some fun twisties following the bottom of the washout area, and takes you to the same road as the south gate to the Royal George.
The offer is out there, I really need to go down and check on the place anyhow.

Everything is negotiable. Pee breaks are far between on the stretch between Castles but there has been great appreciation in provision of Ice Cream accessibility w/ the break in Florence. A new back road leading to the Royal Gorge would be great. Dirt roads & Mini's are not always so great (ask Chuck).

Check out Westcliffe, They had a pretty good icecream shop there hidden in a mom and pop shop last I was there. That was back before the cult moved in next door (To the town) though. The dirt section of the road is well kept most of the time, and only a couple miles, it's got enough curves in it that you need to keep the speeds low, and increase your following distance, but everyone should be fine. After that it's rough pavement, with a few big smooth dips, lots of curves, and a cattle gaurd or two, spread out over about 20 miles. No vehicles over 30 feet are alowed and most of the locals (even the sheriff) throw the speed limmit out the window.
If it all sounds good to you guys/gals let me know.

Dang it
I had to pull my name from this one again. Dag nab it.
Was looking forward to a great ride and seeing Castles, plus the porta potties.
Alan, Kristan and Ray will have to rep. the club's officers.
I will be in Virginia dealing with a family item.
Take lots of pictures, write a good story for the newsletter.

Nice photos Jacque! Hope to post mine soon when I get a few spare minutes. I used one of my MINI photos from the ride to submit an entry to the NAM monthly photo contest. More details when the voting starts (tomorrow I think).
