I am selling my Race intake set-up for a 2008-2012 Mini Cooper Clubman S. this system adds 22 HP to the wheel and the sound is terrific. This really frees up the potential of the engine. Fitment question: Will this fit an r56 2012 mini cooper s?
If so, i want it.

 

While I have not tried to fit it on a r56, the vortex scoop is compatible, and the ddm works shows the r56 as the model that is used. They are the same model, and the ram air secures with plastics clips where the current sound detoner on the hood is.

 

1/2 thanks for the reply. here is my dilemma, in 2011 1/2 BMW in there infinite wisdom made a HUGE running change in the Cooper S. so if you have a part number can you send it to me and i will check with the manufacturer to see if it fits.

also, will you sell the hood scoop by itself?

I would like to sell the whole set-up as that is the most functional over the stock hood. This is an open air scoop directly into the Ram air induction. If I had to sell separately, it would $275. As for the model, I have have is that R56 Race Intake System for 2008-Clubman. I know they still carry it. Could send email to DDMWORKS.
