First race for points is this Sunday, March 14th. Come on out and race or come and cheer on the MINI's.

OK, BAMA let's get out there and support our MINI drivers. Enjoy the time outside and watch those MINIs move.

 

I met up with the local Subaru racers tonight and they were a great bunch of guys. From talking with them, it sounds as if SCCA Solo II has become quite a spectator sport here in Birmingham, and the best part is that it is absolutely free!

Greg Lee will be racing his Cooper in H-stock, and your's truly will be running my MCS in G-stock.

Racing starts at approximately 10:00 and runs throughout the day. The weather forecast suggests that the chance of rain increases throughout the day, so you may want to come earlier than later. Unfortunately, nobody knows the racing schedule until the day of the event, so I do not know exacty when the MINI's will be on the track.
