Blackline headlight trim is in

I was waiting for this item since I saw it on the coupe at the geneva autoshow, looks pretty nice and looks like will start shipping soon, I only got the passenger side :( for now, but I am pretty happy with it.

part number 51 13 2 254 740

enjoy it!

Very nice, were you able to get them from your dealer? I keep checking, and they tell me not yet.

Looks good! Still waiting for the headlight and tail light blackline trim that I ordered a few weeks ago. I ordered mine from Bavauto.com.

51 13 2 296 296 right tail light trim $30.95
51 13 2 296 297 left tail light trim $30.95
51 13 2 254 740 right headlight trim $26.95
51 13 2 254 895 left headlight trim $26.95

So has anyone ordered the actual blackline tail lights and side scuttles?

Picked up The Dread Pirate 31 December 2010 and had black headlight trim rings and scuttles with smoked lenses leaving the lot. I got them from Lyle at Vinyl Styles (along with all else but grill surround/JCW) and had the dealership put them on for free... 15,000 miles and two Dragons later, they are still in perfect shape.

P.S.: The tail lights are profesionally tinted and no, I'll never drive it to NJ/NY. Oh yeah, please excuse the dirt...

Anyone have news on the 'blackline' headlight washer jet covers?
Are those being produced through OEM?

Erik, From what I've seen Mini is not offering "blackline" washer jet covers.

It really isn't that hard to just buy 1yd of Oracal 970RA vinyl and do it yourself. Heat gun from harbor freight for $8 and $20 1yd of vinyl. Super easy and you'll have extra vinyl for anything else you'd want to wrap.

No, it's not as that's what I currently have; but I have clients that are wanting to have the OEM stuff because it's 'OEM'...

My order has an expected arrival of 6/29/12. But we all know that will change.

I just checked the availability for the headlight rings. It shows an availability in Germany of 06/18/12 with a U.S. release of 7/27/12.
