I just wanted to get on and post/brag about my new gopro. After Dragon '10 I just had to invest in one.

I've been researching them for a while now and finally decided to take the plunge after seeing all of the cool setups and videos while in Fontana for the Dragon.

The picture, sound, and build quality of this little thing is truly amazing. I have shot 3 videos so far and I am very pleased with the sharp picture and steady shot the suction cup provides. I shot a video tonight with the head strap and it was actually pretty cool watching the video in 1st person, although, I will say the picture isn't the best on back country roads that are pitch black. But, night vision goggles these are not...

I bought the "Outdoor Edition" because I wanted the head strap and handlebar strap for other activities (mtn biking, rafting, who knows) and got the suction cup separately. The suction cup is pretty amazing. I was a little hesitant on hanging $300 off the side of my car while it barrels down Alabama's smooth and pristine roads but this cup is not letting go. I don't think I will (or can) see if it will hold up to speeds of 150MPH but I will take the box's word for it.

Anyways, that's my free advertising for the night. We are off work Sunday and Monday and the little one is with his father so hit me up if you want to ride... and make videos.

Those are pretty cool cameras.
We have used them before in some of our sports productions like POVs and bullpen, beauty shots things like that.

 

I have used a GoPro with the suction cup into the triple digits on the MINI and it has been confirmed to hold at over 130 on a bike.
