Great good luck with that , please let me know what you think?
I hope that the results are as you expected .
The first response should be improved and I hope that there is no
turbo lag.

Before you pull the trigger there, at least check with the guys at GPop and get some input for the money they can make some great results.

I have enjoyed the AMG cars and have been surprised by the wagon by a sweater vest wearing lady at the drag races where she laid down mid 11sec passes and was the sweetest lady you'd never though could drive and cut killer lights too!! Her hubby drove a SC Jag that was equally fast, they were regulars at the track... The E55 sure is a Gem that I am sure is missed in the lineup, not that the 6.3 is bad, it just isn't as fast yet probably better handling from the factory... What is your assessment since you have them?

If I understand it right you have an 09 JCW clubman?? Measure the inside diameter of the turbo inlet on the turbo that is on the car now & the new billet turbo. If the new turbo is 0.50" smaller then you are heading in the wrong direction. I've been doing some heavy duty tuning for the past 2 yrs. I have a pretty good idea what works and what doesn't.

So couple of quick thoughts. Only spent about 20 min there with the car. did not pick up yet..

[Mr.Cooper] have not time 0-60 as I was the first drive around the block to make sure every thing is running right.

nor has it been in dyno yet.

- the Akra DP is freaking loud. the pop and bubble is crazy. I feel alitte embarrass driving it around. I feel like a "ricer". Maybe I am too old for that. And using Stock JCW exhaust.
-the turbo spools pretty quick. no turbo lag.
-even with OS Giken LSD / Clutch the tires spins in first , and little in second gear. using PSS tire. I have another set of wheels with hankook RS3. will try that.
- blistein PSS10 is very smooth. M7 coliover are rougher.

When your driving a MINI, there's no such thing as being a Ricer.

as of tuning the car.. I was using the stock mapping of Alta AP.
Started on Stage 1.
boost at 20.4/ held at 17.9
the exhaust was popping crazy.
Stage 2
boost at 20.8 / held at 18.8
exhaust same.
stage 3 at 22.3 / held at 20.6
exhaust calm down on popping.

there is too much back pressure. I guess.

Looks like stock turbo with OEM factory heat shield on.
