Stinking potholes bent wheel

Our tax dollars at work just cost us more money!!!
Anyone have any luck getting a wheel straightened?
Any recommendations in So Cal?
Are Mini wheels softer than most, it didn't
feel that bad!
If you have one you would part with let me know
I was quoted 3days and $ 100-200 to have it straightened.
Any input is appreciated

Thanks,
Tim

So many people take off stock rims there should be a bunch out there cheap. You might want to look around since I would figure a used rim would cost less.

that must be a really big pothole. the oem wheel is heavy and strong. i've run over a few with runflats without a problem.

not sure about the quality of refurbishing a wheel but at $200, i rather find another one on ebay/CL. i'm quite paranoid about safety and would not trust a refurbished wheel.

wheels

You can get refurbished wheels for around $200 delivered, then there's the mounting and all. My wife beats her rims to death and right now 3 of them are bent, but you can't tell by driving. I'd live with it unless it really bothers you. People tell me that the mini rims aren't any softer than others, but I've never had a car with so many bent rims. She tells me she doesn't know how it happens.

Hey Tim, that sucks. Where did this happen? TruWheel has been around forever, but I've never been. Good luck.

FWIW, I have had good luck with wheels that have been straightened. I was reluctant, but when I looked a the cost of replacement vs straightening, I figured what did I have to lose.
