I'm right there with you too. Ordered last Friday -- BRG/MC all 3 packages. I've become obsessed with Mini information and stories. I can't wait until the arrival. This is a great group to be part of!!

Looks like everybody on this thread is on the same timetable. We need to stick together as a support group for the long wait. Who knows maybe all our Minis will be traveling on the same boat on their way home to us.

I ordered mine on March 1st as part of the ULTIMATE CLASSIC MINI GROUP BUY. I see it has now moved from the on order state to the scheduled for production state. Classic Mini gave me the 1st week of May as the date I'll get my baby.

I'm starting to look around for custom bits to add to my already custom order MCS i.e. shift ****, gauges, wheels etc. Any one have some special additions they are adding?

I ordered a MCS in BRG/BRG with chrome mirrors, anthracite interior, black panther, OBC, HK, MFSW, Xenon and fog lights, aero kit, white tail lights- named Austin

Hey SCMCS, I ordered mine as part of UCMGB round 2! Haven't checked my status yet... today any way. I'm looking at an end of May delivery, myself. If things slip, I could end up having t' join a waiting for June group, but I like it here already.

As far as 'bits', I know I'm getting the parcel shelf, and I'll probably get a clear bra and clear bumper cover as well. Definately going to rework the audio system. Performance mods... Hhmmm, driving school first I guess, then figure out what best suits my driving. Shoot, got plenty of time for mind changing at this point.

My MCS is on board the "KOH JIN", somewhere in the Atlantic. I can't find any weather transmissions from her, so guess it's on schedule. Due to arrive in Port Hueneme April 24th. I estimate a couple of weeks to get a delivery in Denver. BTW, there are 210 MINI's on the KOH JIN, so there are 209 other lucky people in the world.

Wow! Definately use the 866) ASKMINI number for the most up to date info. The MINIUSA web site lists my MCS as scheduled for production (still), but my car is actually already done, and waitlisted for the Jingu Maru.

The actual build seems like the fastest part, now that my car is built, its back to waiting...

The Can't Wait For Clubs are tradition on NAM - and a healthy way to spend time when you can't sleep waiting for delivery of your MINI! I know - because 18 months ago I drove everyone around me crazy while I waited!

And I lost a ton of sleep!

May is just around the corner - so you're now counting hours, not months.

Take delivery (the break-in period goes quickly because you'll be MOTORin' a lot) and then join us at MINImeet 2004: The Wolfe Island Adventure.

Don't miss the boat - any maybe make it to the NAM calendar. (MINImeet 2003 is the June centerfold!).

Askmini tells me I'm In Production. Estimated completion date: 4/22/04. w00t.

That's if I tell them my production number. If I speak my last 7 digits of my VIN it wants to transfer me somewhere else. Where is that having me go. A CSR?

Hi!

I emailed the dealership about the Mini group buy and no one contacted me. How does the discounted delivery charge work? Did you get to order what they have/had available or could you customize your Mini? How does the pricing work? Thanks!

I'd give Julie a call directly. I can tell you for sure that she's real busy, with all of us calling her all the time. (440) 266-6700. I don't know if the group buy is still going on, but you never know.

I don't know about the delivery charge, but the MINI is your mini, not necessarily what they have in stock, which was not much when I visited last , you can customize all you want.

I think my baby is on her (I'm pretty sure its a girl!) way across the pond! Listed as 'on board' the Jingu Maru, which is due in NY on 4/26. Back to waiting.

Shelly - Gads! My baby needs a name!

edit: booking list for the Jingu Maru shows 55 other MINIs on board...
Anyone else here in NAMLand have baby on board?
edit to the edit! There are actually 130 MINIs listed!

Does it tell you what boat you're on in the Owner's lounge or are you talking to a rep to see what the status is?

The ask mini line still says in production estimated completion 4/22/04. OL says Scheduled for production...newest piece of info I have is my VIN which I got last Saturday.

Neither
This page on MINI2 gives a very good run down on how to track you MINI.

According to ASKMINI, my car was scheduled to finish production 4/8, and it did. After that the cargo tracking site seemed more up to date than ASKMINI, which is more up to date than the OL. VIN is good, you need it for cargo tracking!

AAARRRGGGHHHH!

I know practicing is a good way to get better at somethings. However, I am not getting any better at waiting!!! =8-/
My MINI (nameless, as yet) is within a day of getting off the boat, the hours drag by, I'm so distracted. Good thing my family is pretty much stuck with me, their eyes start to glaze over when I mention anything even slightly MINI related.

I try playing The Italian Job pc game as a distraction (the only time my kids seem interested), and I'm really bad. Thank goodness cars have steering wheels and not arrow buttons. I think I've crashed into most of London. Yes, I still haven't gotten past mission 4. I do like the way the game has the different cars 'handle'.

Thank you for listening, or not

Off the boat, finally!
Now the waiting gets harder. So far, my car is scheduled to arrive at Classic on 5/6.
Hope there are no delays at the VDC. Wonder which software version is loaded?
