I've been pining for these tail lights that were only available in Europe for the 2005+ first-gen Minis - they have amber turn signals instead of just more red, which I think would look great on my Hot Orange r52.

Part numbers show up as 63217166955 and 63217166956 - but they're not coming up in any US-based parts search sites.

I can see that newministuff.com in the UK has them, but the price seems a bit high, after the exchange rate and shipping...

Anyone have any experience with buying OEM euro-spec parts in the US?

 

I've had some luck using MINI part numbers (taken from RealOEM) and ordering through pelicanparts. Might want to give that a shot...

I've got those exact same tail lights on my '06.

My wife bough them as a Christmas present in 2007; she got them from newministuff in the UK. I think they look awesome, much better and more "Mini" than the all red version of the '05-'06 facelift.
