I have some really great neighbors!! I park outdoors in my apartment complex lot which would typically be rife with all kinds of potential parking perils. I watch my MINI like a hawk, but less so now than when I first drove it home just over a year ago. The reason? My awesome neighbors! In particular, the four lady neighbors who habitually park in the same section of the lot that I do. They love my MINI and even though their cars are huge compared to mine, they give me plenty of space and seemingly take great care to never, ever ding my car. I've noticed them taking extra care when parking...and this out of simple neighborly respect. I was just outside and noticed my MINI out there now cocooned safely in the midst of their big 'ol cars....I am not the least bit worried! Ain't that great?

Yes, be greatful, people like that are hard to come by. I have already had a door (or I will assume that's what it was) slammed into the drivers side of my MINI scratching the paint down to the metal. Then I come out of school the other day and a Mercedes is parked across from me, completely touching my front bumper (broke my license plate holder). Most people aren't that careful. Glad I have a driveway to park in at night
