Unusual Tire Wear
Unusual Tire Wear
is this considered 'cupping'?
just noticed this on my 2000 Toyota Camry, bought these tires brand new quite a few years ago and didn't notice any unusual wear until recently

it's happening on all four tires, on the outside edges of the tires
pretty sure the shocks are fine
what do you guys think?

Cheap tires with misalignment? They are goodyears, but maybe a bad batch of rubber was shot into the mold or a temp was off in the molding process caused the rubber to not wear but degrade. I imagine that that kind of wear is not purely alignment as you would feel that level of crappiness.
I thought it could be alignment, but would it go out of specs together in all four corners at once?
And it's driving straight too
Lol it's my moms DD, and she's in her 50s so I don't think she would corner aggressively
And tire pressure was fine when I checked it once a while
