My 2012 countryman has been at the dealer for three days...
I got my car in September and has 8300 miles on it. Last week when I was backing it out of my driveway it would stall, this happened four times. So I take it back to the dealer thinking it was an easy fix. Well they don't know what it is. The tech experienced it too... Every cold start going reverse it stalls. They said there doing all the suggested test and nothing is coming up. On Monday there having someone from the "corporate office" come down to look at the car.
They said they're very surprised this is happening and no other car has come in like this.
Has anyone experienced this??
I'm very ticked this is happening. What if the "corporate" person doesn't find what's going on??
Does the lemon law come in to play??

I just want my car back in perfect condition.

I have to say this is the first I've read about the issue! Check your local laws towards declaring a Lemon. Each state is a bit different, and can sometimes be quite a PITA! Good luck to you!

 

its unfortunate, but a long way from a lemon. It usually requires 4 trips for the same problem, or the car being at the dealer a certain percentage of the time.

Hopefully they get it taken care of right away for you. Just keep everything documented.
